The 5th ZHONGNONG FUTONG International Comprehensive Agricultural Training, whose subject is “The industrial technology integration of protected vegetable”, was successfully held during March 30-31.
The trainees of this session were mainly scientific and technological research and development personnel, agricultural park leaders, and agricultural investors, media journalists who came from Heilongjiang, Jiangxi, Shandong, Liaoning, Tianjin, and Beijing and so on. The trainees had different degrees of demand on the technology upgrade, industrial upgrading, project investment and sales of agricultural products in protected vegetable industry.
On the first day of the training, under the guidance of three lecturers, the trainees carried out in-depth study around the “industrial technology integration of protected vegetable " and learned the selection of vegetable varieties, the key technology of plug seedling, and the comprehensive control of pests and diseases and so on.
Mr. Liu Wei, researcher of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Vegetable Flower Research Institute, director of China Agricultural Technology Promotion Association, Deputy Secretary-General of China Vegetable Association, Vice President of Vegetable Seed Branch of China Seed Association, and General Manager of China Vegetable seed Technology Co.,Ltd., addressed a presentation on the theme of " variety selection, makes you win on the starting line ".
Ms. Gao Lihong , Professor of Olericulture Department of Horticultural College in CAU (China Agricultural University), Deputy Secretary-General of Horticulture Professional Committee of China Agricultural Engineering Society, and director of Beijing Agricultural Engineering Society, mainly engaged in greenhouse soil bioremediation technology and mechanism research, greenhouse cucumber water and fertilizer efficient cultivation model research and study on soilless culture technology. In the training, Professor Gao started from a professional angle to introduce "key technology of plug seedling".
Mr. Meng Fancong, Technical Director of KOPPERT B.V. Co., Ltd. (Netherland) gave a presentation on "comprehensive pest-control technology." Mr. Meng specifically introduced IPM pest integrated prevention and control technology from pesticide management, monitoring and biological prevention and control aspects. According to Meng, the implementation of IPM relied on the construction of basic knowledge, monitoring, decision-making, records and other measures; and biological control mainly depended on the introduction of natural enemies, timely records and early prevention and control.
The next day, the trainees visited the Beijing International Urban Agricultural Science and Technology Park (hereinafter referred to as "S&T Park") and Beijing Ruizhengyuan Farm. In the S&T Park, the trainees surveyed the facility-soilless-cultivation technology, efficient vegetable cultivation, the throughout green prevention and control technology system of agricultural products and technologies of agricultural Internet of Things. Then in Ruizhengyuan Farm, they stayed about the Farm’s excellent marketing management model, meanwhile participated the 11th FUTONG Salon of Three Rural Issues: "Interpretation of how agricultural industrial park realizes profit—taking facility vegetable industrial park as an example ".

The 5th session of ZHONGNONG FUTONG’S training course earned excellent remark from trainees and achieved complete success. Through two days of training, the trainees updated the understanding of the vegetable industry, gained actual experience and learn relevant technology and marketing strategies, meanwhile got to know many industry partners. ZHONGNONG FUTONG, as the organizer of the training course, collected a lot of feedback and questions from the trainees during the training period, and will continue to improve and update the curriculum provision and teaching content so as to provide the trainees with more effective and better international agricultural resources and learning exchange opportunity.
