Session 7 -- 2019 International Agri-technology Exchange Meeting Has Been Successfully Held Back

On December 7, 2019, “International Agri-technology Exchange Meeting,” which is part of The 9th Conference on the Development of Modern County Agriculture in China, has been successfully held in Datong Grand Hotel, Shanxi Province.  


This meeting was hosted by professor, Meng Fanxi, who is the former dean of International College of China Agricultural University. During the meeting, Dr. Nikolaos Sygrimis, who is professor of Agricultural University of Athens, Mr. Mao Weiping, who is north Asia manager from Rijk Zwaan Zaadteelt en Zaadhandel B.V., Mr. Lan Yunqing, who is deputy general manager from Kangbeike Equipment, China Branch of TOMRA Group, Ms. Xu Fang, one is regional sales manager from Eurofins Scientific, and Mr. Sun Can, who is supervisor of international department of China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association, have delivered their special reports in the area of agricultural technology. In addition, Feng Ligeng, a professor from College of Food Science & Nutritional Engineering of China Agricultural University, and many home and abroad industry experts and elites have also attended this meeting.


The themes of this meeting include: application in irrigation and fertilization, development and innovation of agriculture industry in Netherlands,solutions and examples for fruit & vegetable sorting, necessities for fodder detection in livestock raising, and brief introduction of Chinese agri-machinery market and some foreign agri-machinery products.


After the meeting, participants have exchanged and discussed the related agricultural science and technology issues, as well as speech topics made by experts, which has contributed to a fruitful meeting. This meeting has also presented lots of new opportunities in the field of agricultural science and technology, which is crucial to promotion of the development of China’s agriculture.
